Consistent steel-strip processing depends on stable material, defined parameters and repeatable machine motion. Adjusting one station alone rarely resolves dimensional variation across a complete batch.
Control incoming material
Strip width, thickness, hardness and coil condition influence feeding and forming. A clear incoming-material standard reduces frequent parameter changes.
Keep the feed path stable
Feed wheels, guides and die centers require regular inspection. When buckle position or cut length changes, check feeding, positioning and forming in that order.
Record changeover parameters
Store tooling references, material specifications and key settings for common products. This shortens changeovers and helps different shifts follow the same operating method.
